The Regional Crisis Nursery Collaboration provides support for crisis nurseries in Northern California. The 1-877-KIDS PLACE toll free telephone lines over a direct connection to each of the crisis nurseries, as well as providing additional information on each location. The Regional Crisis Nursery Collaboration consists of crisis nurseries of FamiliesFirst, KARE Crisis Nursery of Nevada County, and the Sacramento Children’s Home.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Crisis Nurseries help families that are in need of assistance.

We provide a safe place for your children from birth through 5 years of age. They can stay at the Nursery up to 30 days.

We are open 24 hours a day, everyday. You can call us anytime, day or night.

We have counseling and support services to help you and your family.

WHEN SHOULD YOU CALL US?

When you need help caring for your child due to:
    Homelessness
    A drug or alcohol problem
    A sudden illness or accident
    Domestic violence
    Feelings of desperation or hopelessness
    Or any other situation that you feel puts your child
    in an unsafe environment.
